L&C EXTERIOR FONTS

With new applications come new possibilities but also new constraints. At L&C we began pushing the communication possibilities of the exterior lights and Tech band. This was an exterior screen but with large LED lights, so a new typeface had to be designed to be used, continuing with the same characteristics of the brand font but adapted for this specific use. The LED's could be on or off but also had 32 levels of brightness, so using this control I made a font pixel by pixel to be used to aid external communication.
